Fostering Fortnight:

In recognition of Fostering Fortnight we would like to share feedback from carers who recently completed KEEP Safe in Somerset.

“Since completing KEEP we have seen a huge difference in how we foster young people. It has taught us to be much more positive towards everything and this has had a huge impact on the young person living with us. We are able to deal with challenging behaviour in a much more softer approach and we use strategies taught in KEEP every single day without realising…now it just comes naturally to us!

KEEP has also shown us how to reduce stress, take time out for ourselves to think about the situation and not to react immediately and make wrong decisions for us and for the young person.”
