If you have a child who is living in foster care in England, then it is possible that their carers may be offered something like KEEP. You can see if there is a KEEP programme near you.

Your child’s social worker can give you more information about this if you are interested.  Only foster and kinship carers attend the KEEP groups and the main aim is to help them learn some very effective ways of looking after children.  When they are skilled and confident they can offer high quality care to the children they are looking after.

If the plan is for your child to return home to you then there is some evidence to suggest that this has a better chance of succeeding when foster carers have been trained in KEEP.
